Our Story

PJK & P Consulting Engineers firm, was first registered by the National Construction Industry Council of Malawi (NCIC) as a consulting engineer’s firm in May 2013 and started operating in 2015. PJK & P Consulting Engineers offers professional capacity across the whole spectrum of civil engineering, planning, management and related disciplines. The firm has acquired the skills and resources necessary to start and complete projects of varying sizes in the sector of natural and built environment.

As a consultancy firm, the organisation relies on the intellectual skills of its human resource which when combined adds up to very significant man-years of experience. Consequently, the firm has the capacity to respond to the changing needs of clients from the conceptual stage of a project, including feasibility analysis and planning, to construction and maintenance supervision.

Our Expert Team

PJK & P Consulting Engineers’ professional staff have worked for many years on projects financed by the government of Malawi and major development partners such as World Bank, African Development Bank, European Union, Japan International Co-operation Agency, OPEC Fund for International Development, Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA), Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development, Saudi Fund for Development and Abu Dhabi Fund for Development. Involvement on the projects varied from feasibility studies and detailed engineering design to construction supervision, while working with consultants in the private sector. While working as public servants, involvement was in project management across the entire project cycle ranging from project initiation and appraisal to design and implementation.
